ABOUT THE CONTEST
Leading Arab organizing committee «TESSA» in January 2017 held a second international instrumental competition in the UAE, Abu Dhabi «ABU DHABI MUSIC COMPETITION ». This contest proved to be a high level of training, attracted public attention, opened new names of talented musicians from all over the world.
Following our traditions, an international jury from different countries came to the competition in the UAE, which made the contest truly professional!
The jury consisted of famous musicians and professors from Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan and Russia.
RIAD KUDSI (SIRYA) Mr. Riad Kudsi director of the National Conservatory of Dubai, the founder of the International Festival in the United Arab Emirates, which is held annually to young virtuosos. Mr Riad Kudsi is also a member of the Board of leading teachers in the College of Music in Prague, repeatedly appeared as a soloist with many national orchestras in European and Asian countries. With success he taught in the Czech Republic, France, Syria and now in the Arab Emirates.
MAKHIRA GULIYEVA (AZERBAIJAN) – a piano teacher, concertmaster of the orchestra of folk instruments of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Author of instrumental developments for the folk instruments and founder of College of Music ensemble in Sumgait.
MARINA ZAMFIR (UAE) – founder and CEO of Elite Music Institute Abu Dhabi. Graduated from Voronezh College of Music of Rostropovich.
PAUL POGORELSKIY (Russia) A professional musician, performer composer and arranger. He graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory Tchaikovsky in piano and organ. In addition, she completed a course in conducting and opera singing. Teacher of music from the international academy of the Arab Emirates. Winner of many international competitions, a member of the Council of Young Composers of Russia and the Association of Russian Pianists.
All participants were awarded nominal international diplomas laureate I, II, III extent GP – If; The best performers, at the discretion of the company TESSA, were awarded certificates for free participation in international competitions, special diplomas and memorable gifts from the organizing committee and the founders of the contest.
Each leader received letters of appreciation for the preparation of the participant.
Organizers of the contest «ABU DHABI MUSIC COMPETITION », provide an ideal opportunity to take part in the competition, exchange experiences with participants from different countries visit the tour and feel the atmosphere of this international festival of music!
In addition to the competition days, the festival was held open lesson of the jury members of the faculty of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory Mrs. Mahiry Gulievoy on “software in a piano cycle” Album Jamila “the great Azerbaijani composer Tofig Alekper oglu Guliyev. “
